After being urged to move to Cornerstone by her children, Cece Tye was upset to say the least. But it wasn’t long before things begin to change, starting with her attitude. “I fell in love with Cornerstone! I couldn’t have been more wrong about all of the stereotypes I believed,” said Cece. As her attitude changed, her physical wellbeing also changed.
Life Enrichment Director, Lisa Westerman, shares her story of discovering purpose in the midst of great loss.
“There were two buildings, one for fifth grade through high school and another for first through fourth grade,” Webb recalled. “Our building [first through fourth grade] got out earlier and I had begun to walk home when it happened. I remember white paper floating in the air moments after the explosion. I didn’t hardly know what to do or what to think.”
Each time there is a vacant residence at Cornerstone, Dede takes time to walk through the space to pray for whomever will occupy it next.
